New year, new work

Now that the Christmas rush is over, we wanted to share a few of our favourite recent projects with you.

For npower Business

In the run up to Christmas, we were set a brief by npower Business to raise awareness of their free rewards programme.

As custodians of the marketing strategy for npower Business, True identified a need to promote Business Rewards using the rewards themselves, to demonstrate what's in it for customers.

Programmes like this tend to be managed by administrative staff: Receptionists or Office Managers, and as the day-to-day energy contact, we identified these people as our target audience. Lauren’s customer insight told us that these are the people who keep the wheels turning for small businesses, the unsung heroes. So npower wanted to say thank you, celebrating their efforts and showcasing the great rewards available to them and their colleagues.

The creative execution tells the story of Bob, the real hero of Christmas. Empathising with the audience, it communicates the benefits of the rewards scheme in a fun and playful way.

For Manchester Arndale

Manchester Arndale set us a brief to help generate awareness and drive pre-registrations for Manchester Fashion Weekender – a glittering event featuring a digital fashion show and brand new ‘Style Spinner’ game.

The audience love fashion, love shopping and love Manchester. To them shopping is more than just buying things. It’s a pastime, a social occasion and something to be enjoyed.

They also love bargains and having any excuse to go in store to spend.

Sean created a Facebook Canvas ad allowing the user to explore what they could experience on the day, teasing the free gifts they could receive and prizes they could win on the day. This was supported with a landing page, email and organic social content.

We smashed the 2 week target for pre-registration signups in spectacular style and the event was such a success, we’ll be doing it again this year.
