Having invested in some amazing new rides, Oakwood needed a website that was more than an online brochure – one that really did justice to the park and the brilliant day out it can offer. They also wanted to introduce the functionality to allow visitors to book tickets online.

our solution

We created a bright, interactive online theme park experience, with a fresh design style and the introduction of Cyril the animated Squirrel to emphasise the park environment.

We made the site playful and easy to use. Flash animation and a series of video and audio clips bring Oakwood’s main rides to vivid, exhilarating life.

The site is structured around the users’ needs before, during and after their visit. Children, parents and teachers can build personalised itineraries, get all kinds of advice for their day and interact after the visit by sending in ratings, comments and photos.

We worked closely with Oakwood’s technical team to introduce a sophisticated ticketless booking system with online payment.
