With climate change in the spotlight and the onus on power providers to encourage greater energy efficiency, npower wanted an online recruitment campaign to attract SMEs with an energy efficiency proposition.

Working closely with npower’s PR and DM agencies, we created an integrated campaign around a simple thought: the greenest energy you use is the energy you don’t use.’

Online and offline advertising and PR drove businesses to an animated, interactive site featuring an imaginary town landscape. The site vividly illustrates how businesses can make a real difference to the environment, empowers users to use less energy and invites them to make their own energy saving pledge. User interaction reveals how all the pledges will benefit the environment and the community.

Supporting content includes practical energy-saving advice and a quote request form. Switchers receive a free energy-saving device to help them measure and reduce energy use.

 

Results

  • Sales staff reported a big increase in leads, telesales and field sales over the campaign period.
