Dolby asked us to help them demonstrate their ground breaking new headphone technology online. The demo had to be customisable, suitable for use by third parties and include a data capture element for follow-up communications. It also had to be adaptable enough for use on handheld devices.
We created a flash based solution incorporating three sound-intensive video clips - Carlos Santana in concert, Halo 3 and the Red Bull air race. The user can to switch Dolby Headphone technology on and off as they watch, experiencing an extraordinary improvement in sound quality for themselves.
Graphics, clips and text were stored in an XML file, so Dolby could make changes to customisable elements as the campaign progressed.
We also created a version of the demo for Sony PSP.
